Abstract

BARROCO, Sonia Mari Shima  and  TULESKI, Silvana Calvo. Vigotski: cultural man and its creative processes. Psicol. educ. [online]. 2007, n.24, pp. 15-33. ISSN 1414-6975.

This work discusses some theoretical points of creativity and creative processes in educational psychology under an historical-cultural perspective. In addition, it helps think of new alternatives for creative schooling, when human beings reproduce situations that express and deepen alienating processes. As human consciousness is a complex form of reality's active and creative reflex, its development is understood to occur in the human social historic process, along which objective activity and language are developed and participate closely in its manifestation. Developing the cultural human being in its creative potentialities means to emphasize human capacity for perceiving, analyzing, synthesizing and generalizing information and to elaborate over it new forms of knowledge that return to and modify social practices

Keywords : creativity; creative processes; historical-cultural psychology; educational psychology.
