Abstract

This text looks for to discuss by means of social representations, the image of paulistas university students group have about the school. To understand it as knowledge space, commitment and challenge was necessary to consider the images that are being constructed by their actors as mellowed elements that found in uninterrupted movements directing attitudes and y daily conduct. The seizure of this space demanded a research that required a multidimensional methodological proposal, makes from the collection and a whole information processing come after writing and designed narratives. Data analysis resulted in general way, included two image dimensions to go through the school social representation to the university students researches. The first, shared by Pedagogy students, indicated one idealized school with their school supplies and typical environments of early childhood teaching or Elementary. The second, describes by Medicine students, expound the current school, or the school in which live as students. School that have the personal development as challenge, offering material and physical conditions
