This article presents the results of a survey during the disciplines of Psychology I and II of the School of Psychology course of the Federal University of Ceara - CFU, under the supervision of Prof.. Dr. Luciana Lobo Miranda, in 2005. This research investigated the expectations that managers, employees and teachers in a public school in Fortaleza had about the role of school psychologist in the public hall. The data were collected through Focal Group and analyzed by analysis of Content. We note the importance that is attached by the subject of this search to a possible role of the professional psychology at the school, even with a diversity of expectations on them. Searches of this nature are relevant to subsidize the formulation of public policies toward the educational improvement of public education hall.
