The objective of this work is the discussion of the relation between school failure and new family organizations highlighted by social, cultural and economic transformation, and also due to the decline of parental authority. For this reason, the discussion of a Lacanian psychoanalytically oriented clinical case fragment will seek to demonstrate how the subject discovered means of constructing his family novel. Besides that, there will be a discussion of the modus operandi of psychoanalysis, which goes contrary to the trial at restoring the so-called traditional family ideals.
