Abstract

DUGNANI, Lilian Aparecida Cruz  and  SOUZA, Vera Lúcia Trevisan de. The meaning of pedagogical coordinator's work: contributions of Educational Psychology. Psicol. educ. [online]. 2011, n.33, pp. 29-47. ISSN 1414-6975.

This article presents the results of a research which investigated the senses of work for the pedagogical advisor and its influence on the role of mediator in relations in the school. Assuming the theoretical-methodological assumptions of cultural-historical psychology, we used as semi structured interviews instruments and records of meetings held with the team manager. The results show that the tutoring job configured as mission prevents the establishment of partnerships with the various school officials, resulting in isolation that causes suffering and illness of this professional. This finding reinforces the importance of the work of psychologist in the school as one of the agents that can promote actions for healthier relationships in this space.

Keywords : cultural-historical psychology; school psychology [senses of work]; Pedagogical Advisor.
