Abstract

SANTOS, Edvanderson Ramalho dos  and  ROSSO, Ademir José. The scholar indiscipline in the social representations of teachers from Paraná. Psicol. educ. [online]. 2012, n.34, pp. 127-157. ISSN 1414-6975.

Based in the approaches to the theory of Social Representations (Moscovici and Abric) and the Genetic Psychology and Epistemology (Piaget), the work investigates the social representations of Basic Education teachers of the state schools of Ponta Grossa on School indiscipline. The information was collected by questionnaire (N= 271) in which we asked the evocation of teachers on the characteristics of unruly students and on the causes of indiscipline. The census data were analyzed using the SPSS, the evocations by EVOC and SIMI, and the justifications for the first evocation, through content analysis. Analysis of the information reveals that teachers describe their students with numerous moral deficits, assigning the reasons of indiscipline in the family environment of students.

Keywords : school indiscipline; autonomy; moral.
