Resumo

This study, Estate of the Art type, conducts an assessment of the production of research into teacher training and teacher work, presented at the Psychology of Education Working Group (GT-20), from ANPED (National Association of Post-Graduate and Education Reserarch), in the last twelve years (2000/2011). The research was theoretically based by the following authors: André (2001 e 2006), André and Ens (2005), Antunes (2008) and Schlindwein (2011). Among the 165 studies presented in this Working Group, in twelve years, nine papers were selected due to the aspects discussed related to training and teacher work. However, the emphasis of these studies is on teacher training and, we realize that the discussions about the real conditions of teaching are still scarce in this working group. Overall, the results indicated that the Southeast region, specifically the State of São Paulo, produced the largest amount of papers on the above topics, being the largest number of publications in the last six years. It was observed, reading the summaries to select the works, that it is necessary a further development, specifying relevant data for the presentation and definition of the research. Finally, we emphasize that, in the area of teacher training the affective component, implicit in the relationship between teacher and students, has been a subject of interest in the researches of the Psychology of the Education Working Group.
