School Psychology proposes a look at the schooling process and the socio-political-cultural environment in which the educational processes are inserted. The general objective of this study was to identify, through bibliometric analysis, the scientific production of School Psychology present in the Index Psi Technical-Scientific Journals Database from 1962 to 2011. The Index Psi Technical-scientific Journals Database gathers technical and scientific literature in psychology published in journals with access to full text. The methodology used was bibliometrics, through which indicators were established to evaluate the current stage of development of School Psychology. 209 records were found, and the most used journal is Psico. , About 62.1% of the authors had only one contribution. Most articles come from São Paulo University (USP) and most cited key-word is School Psychology. The bibliometric approach brings visibility to the scientific production on School Psychology area in this database.
