Abstract

PAULINO, Raissa Silva  and  ROSSATO, Maristela. The subjective dimension of adult student learning in situations of social vulnerability. Psicol. educ. [online]. 2020, n.50, pp. 30-40. ISSN 1414-6975.  http://dx.doi.org/10.5935/2175-3520.20200004.

The aim of this research was to analyze how the condition of school learner is constituted in the subjectivity of students in a situation of social vulnerability, based on the Theory of Subjectivity developed by González Rey. The information was produced from semi-structured interviews, sentence complement, field diary, timeline (life trajectory and school) and observation. The research was carried out in a public school in the Federal District, which specifically serves residents or former homeless people, who live in a situation of social vulnerability. We identified in the three research participants that, even though they had very similar experiences, such as living on the streets, being ex-drug users and having left school while still in their teens, the way they subjectivate the condition of school learner is permeated by the nature of the subjective senses that are produced in the present time, sometimes expressing a condition of subject or agent of the school learning process.

Keywords : Subjectivity; School learning; Social vulnerability.
