A procedure complementary to the BBT - Professional Photo Test - was analyzed by a case-study method. On the basis of an evaluation system specifically elaborated for this purpose, the two stories of the five preferred photos were compared according to the following analysis categories: character identification, capacity to manage the professional conflict, outcome (solution of the conflict), feeling of identity and defensive organization. Comparison of the two narrations produced permitted us to determine that the procedure used favors a better clarification of the conflict experienced by the counselee in the definition of a life project.
