The aim of this study was to describe how the professional training offered by a public University Psychology course behaves in the Occupational Orientation area. Its main interest was centered in the formation and qualification of psychologists/supervisors. The professional training objectives, the university extension service performance, the professionals training, the occupational orientation process and the development of training supervision are described. The author’s reflections resulted from experiencing supervision. In the final considerations, the relevance of studies which can face new challenges concerning professional orientation are outlined.
