Abstract

ADES, César. Training in research, training in comprehension. Psicol. cienc. prof. [online]. 1981, vol.1, n.1, pp. 107-140. ISSN 1414-9893.

Training in research is an important, but generally neglected part of the training of the psychologist. Its purpose, beyond teaching methodology, is to instill a creative attitude of curiosity and criticism. Contact with research can take place in various ways - from theoretical citation to project development and execution - all deserving analysis. Pruductive paths toward an instructional program are: (1) creative conditions for the growth of an epistemic attitude; (2) exploring the boundaries between basic ad applied domains, with emphasis on the relevance of research for both: (3) integrating research training with the other componentes of the curriculum. It is crucial to strimulate the interchange of experiences in research training in order to develop this area and create new alternatives for a psychology curriculum.
