Behavioral play therapy was utilized in treatment of twins (4-year-old) where one child have encopresis and other constipation. The treatment consisted in assessment (interview and observation), baseline (defecation pattern) and interventions (behavioral habituation, toilet training, feedback via graphics and bibliotherapy). In relation to baseline, the twins defecation pattern increased four times. It were debated factors which made possible the change of the twins defecation pattern and the relevance of investigation about factors responsible for individual differences in encopresis.
