The present paper discusses a group activity with patients in a psychiatric service that resulted in new experiences with the body, language, affects and signs. It explores the purpose of the ritual and the dispersion of the work with schizophrenics and show the difficulties experimented in this work, including the question of emptiness that is present in schizophrenia. The organization or structuration of group activity with psychotic patients, though it may seem a progress, may indicate the loss of productive power and the expulsion of psychosis.
