This study aimed to reveal the pathway used by researchers to withdraw from careless parents their legal authority upon a child who was abandoned for three years in an institution. Many interviews were made with the child's relatives to discuss the convenience of beginning a legal process that would lead to the loss of their parental duties. In the end the father himself opened the case (through his attorney). The conclusion has not yet been taken and the process is still under judgment.
