The authors review the literature about the psychologist’s performance in relation to the global disruptions of the infantile development, specifically about: infantile autism, Asperger and Rett syndromes. Firstly, this work presents the infantile development view, and then it approaches the possible disruptions with its definitions, etiologies, diagnostic criterions, different diagnostics and treatment. During this intervention and prevention process with the child, stands out the importance of the psychologist action in the treatment and the effectiveness of the psychotherapy methods that might improve the life quality of the child with the syndrome.
