Abstract

CONTE, Marta; OLIVEIRA, Carmen Silveira de; HENN, Ronaldo César  and  WOLFF, Maria Palma. onsumption, drugs usage and criminality: risks and responsibilities. Psicol. cienc. prof. [online]. 2007, vol.27, n.1, pp. 94-105. ISSN 1414-9893.

This article examines the theme of consumerism, its relationship with drug usage, with criminality and the effects on the subjectivities of contemporary society. Foundations are sought in the areas of psychoanalysis, Philosophy, Sociology and Law to analyze the complexity of the interactions of these phenomena, seeking to ground the discussions and policies that have arisen concerning the subject in a risk society. To this goal, a transdisciplinary reading of the data collected from interviews and group discussions held with prisoners of the semi- open regime in two cities within the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre was made, in which the subjects of Justice, drugs and consumerism were dominant.

Keywords : Consumerism; Criminality; Psychoanalysis; Transdisciplinarity.
