I intend to describe some effects of violence in the psychical subject constitution. To do that, I used the film “Cidade de Deus” as a point of reference, although I do not intend to analyse it. I accentuate the importance of the concept of a posteriori and of Jean Laplanche's generalized seduction theory in order to understand the sexual trait of violence.
