Abstract

JUNQUEIRA, Camila  and  COELHO JUNIOR, Nelson Ernesto. An appreciation about ethics and moral conscience in the works of Freud, Klein, Hartmann and Lacan. Psychê [online]. 2005, vol.9, n.15, pp. 105-124. ISSN 1415-1138.

The aim of this paper is to systematize what is said about ethics and moral conscience in four writers which have determined four mainstreams of the psychoanalytic thinking: Sigmund Freud, Melanie Klein, Heinz Hartmann e Jacques Lacan, and, concomitantly, to point out the clinical implications of theirs contributions. Through the panoramic approach used we concluded that the diversity of metapsychological models in psychoanalysis produced differences in the theoretical approach of the issue of ethics and moral conscience, as well as, perceptive difference in the clinical objectives.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Ethics; Moral conscience; Freud; Klein; Hartmann; Lacan.
