Abstract

MONACHESI, Alessandra Ribeiro. The psychoanalyst’s place in the clinic of psychosis: some reflexions. Psyche (Sao Paulo) [online]. 2005, vol.9, n.16, pp. 165-182. ISSN 1415-1138.

On the following article, I shall be presenting a reflex ion concerning the psychoanalyst’s place in the clinic of psychosis, which will be directed according to three axis : the Psychiatric Reform, the psychoanalytical theory of psychosis and the singular clinical practice developed in a mental health care public institution. Thus, I intend to establish a parallel between the psychotic problematic of not having a place of existence and the “de-territorialness “that the psychoanalyst experiences within his clinical practice. Such an approach allows us to think that the psychotic treatment, as well as the psychoanalyst’s insertion in a mental health care institution, have both something to do with the construction of spots. As long as the psychotic is concerned, this means to create conditions for him to speak for himself. To the analyst, it demand him for engagement with an ethical position, that allows him to emphasize his condition as a “walker psychoanalyst”.
