This paper investigates the performance of the therapeutic accompaniment in grave depressive subjects with suicidal risk. Suicidal risk assessment protocols and interventions are discussed within the field of therapeutic accompaniment, aiming the implementation of specific actions in mental health. Our conclusion poses that TA an additional therapeutic means for clinical psychiatry of great usefulness and importance. Further research is needed concerning the efficacy and the network of community psychiatry.
