The aim of this article is to discuss the importance of using theoretical references based on a conception of Man and worldview that are close to each other, establishing some thoughts about psycho-pedagogic identity and the limits of its action, of that of the psychoanalyst and of that of the teacher. Along this work, the importance of the ethical and the aesthetic dimensions in interventions with children with intellectual inhibitions, present at higher or lower levels in children with psychic problems linked to learning diffculties, will be highlighted. Firstly, we present the data regarding the psychoanalytical process from a Winnicottian standpoint of Eric, a boy aged 7 with psychic suffering linked to intellectual inhibition. Secondly, we describe the psycho-pedagogic process of the boy which started almost two years later and was undertaken. Both therapies carried on concomitantly, with a constant and very enriching interchange between both professionals.
