OLIVEIRA, Rosmari Pereira de. To touch and To share... the body, affect, apprenticeship: an experience of continuous Formation In a Child Education Centery. Constr. psicopedag. [online]. 2009, vol.17, n.15, pp. 91-110. ISSN 1415-6954.

This article presents the report of an experience in continuous formation developed together with child education teachers of the public sector in the city of São Paulo in 2008 (children aged 0-4 years). In this project, theoretical experiences and reflections about body touch and affectivity were carried out, assuming that such aspects are fundamental for the development of children and constitution of individuals. In this sense, the necessary support was offered to the teacher so that the relationship with children could be resignified, integrating important attitudes related to the process of caring for and educating a child. This formation proposal was mainly based on the fundaments of Leboyer (1989) concerning the Indian “Shantala” massage technique; in the anthropological investigation about the act of touching by Montagu (1988) and the pyscho-pedagogical contributions about sensibilization processes in the construction of knowledge, according to Fagali (1992-2001). Thus, experiences resulting from psycho-pedagogical intermediations, through body touches and the sensibilizations, permitted the expression of the teacher’s subjectivity as a person and professional, as well as reflection about his/her relationship with a child and the construction of new practices in the context of child education.
