Abstract

KOLYNIAK FILHO, Carol. Motricity and learning: some implications to scholastic education. Constr. psicopedag. [online]. 2010, vol.18, n.17, pp. 53-66. ISSN 1415-6954.

This paper aims to point out some educational implications of an understanding of motricity like a central aspect of human development, that has close relation with general learning processes. The concept of motricity, as shaped by Kolyniak Filho (2002) in the basis of Manuel Sergio (1996) conceptions, is explained, as well as some elements of a theoretical basis of relations between motricity and learning. Such elements are found in nervous system studies, as well as in theoretical works of authors like Fonseca (1995, 1998) and Luria (1981). The conclusions point out that the assumption of the exposed relations between motricity and learning processes brings some consequences to schools material resources and teaching methods organization, as well as the need of new approaches to learning difficulties, in basis of the inclusive education concept.
