Abstract

In this article, we present a proposal of activities that, in the basis of the concrete psychomotor experience, with the appropriate pedagogical mediation, gradually favor the symbolic representation and the cognitive generalization of the concepts underlying to the lived activities. We estimate that the domination of the psychomotor functions and the capacity of representation are requirements for the acquisition of the ability of reading and writing. We organize the proposals according to a methodology that follows concepts and principles based on sociointeractionist conception of learning.
