Resumen

TARALLI, Ively Helena. Psychodynamic considerations on violence at schools. Constr. psicopedag. [online]. 2011, vol.19, n.19, pp. 47-54. ISSN 1415-6954.

In today's world, situations of intense emotional magnitude, which make people psychologically unstable, have become habitual. In these situations is observed the existence of an extraneous event that makes people live traumatic experiences. These experiences cause serious damages to mental health, especially for children and teenagers who are still developing their personalities. At schools, bullying is considered to be a play which involves imbalance of power whose objective is to affect others. It is a way to project in the other the enemy that lives inside us, as a way to reduce anxiety. As a violent act can have serious effects and also generate, in the subject to violence, the development of disruptive pathologies. However, a strong Ego can avoid trauma and, even if initially there should be a moment of anxiety, the results from living this experience could be different and not lead to end up drastically.

Palabras clave : Bullying; Violence; Humiliation; Power; Aggression; Resilience.
