This article presents discussion on the theoretical foundations of Educational Psychology and considers the role of psychopedagogists to the suffering of mothers of children with special educational needs. The ideas in this article resulted from discussions from theoretical research into the work of psychopedagogists front of mentally handicapped children in the relationship with their mothers. Ends psychopedagogists concluding that it is for the host in certain situations the anguish caused by maternal.
