Abstract

FAGALI, Eloisa Quadros  and  LACAVA, Lidia. Identification of affective-cognitive styles of hero tales and subjects in learning situations, with a psych pedagogical and art therapeutical focus. Constr. psicopedag. [online]. 2013, vol.21, n.22, pp. 46-66. ISSN 1415-6954.

This article highlights researches and projects in clinical and institutional psychopedagogical diagnosis and intervention that use different profiles of heroes with which learners are identified. In this theoretical approach to psychoeducational assessment and intervention, the heroes of the tales and myths are regarded as mediators to rescue children and teenagers self-esteem and identity. These studies gain deeper understanding about the integrations between affect and cognition, associated with different expressions and symbolizations of apprentices. The theories developed are based originally on Carl G. Jung`s analitical theory on the archetype of the hero and his studies on psychological types, with contemporary extensions on differentiation of cognitive-affective styles that reveal the learning situation, bearing in mind the theoretical constructs of Psychopedagogy and Art Therapy to the relationships of teaching and learning.

Keywords : Identification; Hero; Myth; Learning and cognitive-affective styles.
