The article proposes, as a central theme, a review of relations and practices of psychologist in education considering new paradigms, among them the concept of poetic basis of mind. The objective of this work was not only to understand the relationships between psychology and education, but also to propose other theoretical and practical possibilities of this make adopting, for such a convergence of heuristics developed in the University College Geraldo Reis from Universidade Federal Fluminense - COLUNI. In tessituras built between psychology and education, it concluded that urgent task is to put yourself forward reading the symbols and images that spangle the school when it is looked. To this end, it believed that the analytical and archetypal psychologies are ready to offer education subsidies.
