Abstract

ABED, Carolina Zuppo  and  AYUB, Daniel Coutinho. The role of volition in composition teaching: an analysis from the student's point of view. Constr. psicopedag. [online]. 2017, vol.25, n.26, pp. 70-82. ISSN 1415-6954.

This research focus on studying a composition teaching methodology that considers the student as an author, along with the usage of playful resources and group activities in the classroom. Starting from the perception of the learners, while using these resources, the intention was to analyse if there was an increase in desire towards text writing activities and to examine if it would be possible to establish a relation between desire and writing performance. The researcher lectured, for one year, a Composition Techniques class for Middle School 6th grade students, establishing a lesson plan according to psychopedagogical paradigms, setting the playful method as centralizer of the teaching practices. At the end of the process, a questionnaire was applied regarding the classes and developed activities. This article shows some results from the quiz, as well as hypotheses raised from its data analysis.
