Abstract

FERREIRA, Adriana Greco Marega. Tales used as a psycopedagogical tool: a story of experience. Constr. psicopedag. [online]. 2018, vol.26, n.27, pp. 70-86. ISSN 1415-6954.

The article aims to explore in theory under the view of Analytical Psychology the reasons why tales make sense to the human being. Mostly, how tales help behavioral changes and to demonstrate using an experienced case of how a tale can facilitate and decrease the resistance to learn during the learning process. This article also has the objective to produce knowledge about the use of tales as a tool for the psychopedagogical consult with children. The problem-symptom of learning can lead a child to resist the learning process using it as a possibility to face anguish and frustrations that come along together with the knowledge access. The tale shows in this related experience how it can be used as an important tool to decrease the resistance once it facilitates the emergence of archetypes contents, such as the shadows and the symbolic expression of the unconscious strengths. Using the dialogue along with those symbolic representations in the therapist-patient relation, the tale and its expression enable that the symptom of no-learning can be understood and attenuated. It can be concluded that the work with the symbolic it is a way to decrease the resistance in front of learning processes and that the tale can be a very useful tool for psychopedagogical consults.
