Sexuality is a very important aspect of adolescence development, and pregnancy is also a problem at that age. The aim of the study was to measure the adolescent girls' knowledge about pregnancy and prevention, risks to their lifes, academic formation and feelings related with the teenage pregnancy. The participants were 22 pregnant adolescents, aged 14 to 16 years old. Parents and girls gave their permission to answer a specific questionnaire, being informed that all data would be confidential and protected by law. The results showed that they knew about the risks but did not use their knowledge as a way to do to prevent pregnancy. Their information bases are school and family. Their engaging in risky sexual behavior occurred with more frequency after 14 years old, and the feelings concerning the fact for most subjects were positive.
