Abstract

TRINCA, Walter. Clinical notes on common insomnia. Bol. - Acad. Paul. Psicol. [online]. 2009, vol.29, n.1, pp. 120-125. ISSN 1415-711X.

Insomnia is usually associated with simple death drive, which moves away the loving experience of the person with its own self. In sequence, the departure of contact with the inner being follows, especially in the form of difficulties in the experience of existence itself. Thus, agitation and noise occupy the self as relatively autonomous products, causing dispersion and emptiness. Common insomnia is linked, therefore, to the fragility of the self, which turns the person into an airfield to accommodate objects, when the real contact with its own self is missing.

Keywords : Insomnia; Psychoanalytic theory; Contemporary psychoanalysis.
