The Patron of Chair no. 38, Dr. Enjolras Vampré, was an outstanding personality in the field of medicine, especially in Neurology and Psychiatry and in relation with Psychology. Unparalleled in his teaching capacity, he was able to influence his assistants and students due to his enthusiasm with his profession and a strong desire to continually go further. He never sought to impose himself as the best in his acting field but to give opportunity for others to distinguish themselves. It is Interesting to note the amount of his works that relied on the collaboration of his assistants and disciples. Socially, therefore, he revealed himself as a psychologist in action.
