Abstract

This study focuses on the evolution of an extended clinical case with a depression and panic disorder patient after suffering the action of mobbing. It is based on Winnicott, seeking to rescue her illusion, condition for being reinserted into reality. Symbolic narratives are used, such as fables like "The empty carriage", The chinese bamboo" and films, like "Click" and "Chocolate", associated with relaxation techniques. Both fables and films presenting appropriate thematics in accordance with the moment of the case evolution. A progressive reduction of depression and panic attacks is verified. The combination of relaxation techniques and narratives proved to be adequate, allowing the patient to deal with his narcissistic and phobic cores with less suffering. The conquest of her self allows the patient to return to her personal and professional activities, enjoying leisure and self confidence.
