VERDON, Benoit  e  AMPARO, Deise Matos do. Between perceptual and fantasy activity: Nina Rausch de Traubenberg and the Rorschach method. Bol. - Acad. Paul. Psicol. [online]. 2013, vol.33, n.85, pp. 230-242. ISSN 1415-711X.

Nina Rausch de Traubenberg was born in 1920 in Finland, and passed away in Paris, April 7, 2013. Through this eulogy, we honor the memory of this great lady who gave a praiseworthy contribution to the Rorschach test teachings and practice, and had a fundamental importance in the improvement and development of the projective methods field. Besides her decisive involvement in promoting the Rorschach method worldwide, and her essential role as a projective science advocator, Nina Rausch de Traubenberg, during her presidency term of "Société Internationale du Rorschach" and "Société du Rorschach et des Méthodes Projectives de Langue Française", mentored many professionals and had an astounding performance as researcher. Her work encompasses several studies on: projective methods applied to a wide range of subjects, from children to adults; psychopathologies; the 'self' representation and identity; technical and theoretical advances related to Rorschach emotional dynamics; and more particularly, the approach of this method as a space for encounters and interactions, between perceptual and fantasy activities. One of the main aspects of her theoretical developments, among those achieved through clinical studies with children and with severe psychopathologies, refers to the particular definition of the Rorschach method as an interactions space between perceptual activity and fantasy activity, i.e. between external reality of the known object and internal reality of the experienced object. In short, Nina Traubenberg, due to her significant clinical and theoretical contribution is recognized as a fundamental reference for the study of projective methods.
