GRUBIT, Sonia  e  SORDI, Ariana. Research in indigenous communities: relationships of justice and equality. Bol. - Acad. Paul. Psicol. [online]. 2017, vol.37, n.92, pp. 11-23. ISSN 1415-711X.

Declaration of the United Nations (UN) on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples in 2007, led us to a proposal of analysis of ethical issues, involving territory, health, education, gender, among others. The objective of this work is to reflect on the relationship between researcher and indigenous populations, their conflicts, based on our experience with research carried out in the Guarani / Kaiowá, Terena and Kadiwéo ethnic groups of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul and Bororo in the State of Mato Grosso and through the Theoretical reference of Social Psychology. We conclude that awareness of the fundamental principles of ethics through justice and equality is one of the essential factors for non-Indian society to know the history of the indigenous and to respect their culture, as well as to appropriate and absorb their knowledge, since there is still much to learn from indigenous people and furthermore, to allow indigenous interintegration and development, within the cultural principles of equality and justice
