Abstract

BATANOLLI, Gustavo Simon  and  REICHOW, Jeverson Rogério Costa. Mind-matter interaction according to Anomalistic Psychology: a research review carried out during the last five years (2012-2017). Bol. - Acad. Paul. Psicol. [online]. 2018, vol.38, n.95, pp. 145-156. ISSN 1415-711X.

The human consciousness and its properties are still greatly misunderstood by the Psychology and other sciences that intend to study it. When addressing the so-called anomalous experiences (AE) according to the Anomalistic Psychology, this work aims to perform a research review carried out during the last five years (2012-2017) dealing with the mind-matter interaction subject, more specifically the phenomenon of micro-psychokinesis (micro-PK). Following the methodological criteria, six studies were selected, reviewed and presented, three were bibliographic reviews and three were experimental studies. Significant advances in theoretical and methodological terms have been achieved since the first experiments with RNG equipment in the 1970s, however, many improvements are still needed in the development of the investigations to arrive at a common point regarding the handling of micro-PK experiments and the way they are approached. The phenomena linked to consciousness, especially the anomalous phenomena, have been increasingly important for understanding the universe as we perceive it and also for comprehending fundamental questions of the human experience.

Keywords : Anomalistic Psychology; Psi Research; Mind-matter Interaction; Mycro-psychokinesis.
