Studies on digital environments demarcate a new field of study that seeks answers about the subjective and technological bases of social relations. The present study about Instagram, which is nowadays the most prominent digital platform in terms of its popularity and modality of social interactivity, is a research environment that allows countless discussions about the ideal body and the affective relationship with celebrities, that represent model references of beliefs and behaviors that govern interactions between idols and followers. The study describes a unique methodology adapted to the reality of Instagram that was named as Methodology of Likes, which made it possible to identify a sample of participants for the research with international representativity and that provided support to the data collection. The results are presented as an "affection mapping" or a mapping of subjective factors that permeate the relationship between idol and followers around standards of physical beauty, health, emotional overcoming, and personal success. The study can be a starting point for the search for answers about the transformations of human relations in the present time.
