It is emphasized that adequate professional guidance is necessary for the continuation of the Cuban revolutionary process. By deepening the subject and the sociological foundations, an assessment is made of how education is a factor of social change, but this time mainly for the permanence and quality of higher education graduates. The analysis is the result of the author's experience in the activity and the research carried out on professional and educational guidance.
