This work aimed at conducting a literature review about the presence of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in flight crew survivors of airplane accidents. The search was performed without time limitation in the following electronic databases: Conexão SIPAER, PubMed, Web of Science, Scielo, Lilacs, Pubmed, NCBI, Cochrane, BVS, APA PsycArticles, MilitaryDatabase (PROQUEST) and SCOPUS. The following descriptors in Portuguese, English and Spanish were used: "Traumatic Stress Disorders", "PTSD", "Trauma and Stress-related Disorders", "Post-traumatic Stress Disorders", "Acute Traumatic Stress Disorders", "Airplane Accidents", "Aircraft Accident", Airplane Crash", "Aircraft Disaster", "Flight Crew", "Aviation", "Crew", "Aircrew". The review results presented only one article about the topic, which may be due to the lack of interest in the development of studies about the subject and the fact that many accidents lead to fatalities.
