The article aimed to identify and analyze, in the area of Psychology, the Groups and Research Lines of the Directory of Research Groups in Brazil (DGP) linked to the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and the academic productions of its respective Leaders, focusing on intrafamily and/or domestic violence against children and adolescents. It is a meta-synthesis, in which the descriptors "domestic violence", "intrafamily violence" and "domestic violence against children and adolescents" were applied in the DGP's advanced search tool. The analyzed sample was composed of nine groups, ten lines of research and eleven articles. The groups were created between 2001 and 2018, with a prevalence of groups in the Southeast region. Through the convergences and divergences of the content of the articles, four thematic categories were identified: domestic violence and validation of instruments; domestic violence and pregnant teenagers; meaning of domestic and family violence for children and adolescents; and domestic violence and school context. The data brought up a new perspective on the national production in the area of Psychology in intrafamily and/or domestic violence against children and adolescents, tracing possible paths for future investigations and reflections about the research groups that work with this theme.
