This puper presents the treatment of a mother and her baby at the Lugar de Vida Early Intervention Unit. There follows the comments from the professionals of the interdisciplinary teams of Centro Dra. Lydia Coriat in Buenos Aires and Porto Alegre. The discussion goes through the significants which mark this mother-baby couple and the diagnosis.
