Abstract

BACHA, Marcia Simões Corrêa Neder. Œdipus in quarantine. Estilos clin. [online]. 2000, vol.5, n.8, pp. 112-133. ISSN 1415-7128.

Against whom does the adult person fight concerning childhood matters as we see them in educational theories and practices? Children evoke an originary phantom just as menacing as it is paradisical. And it is under this unconscious context that the author analyses her schooling as if it were a sort of quarantine to isolate the evil she carries within. The master/disciple relationship, however, awakens the phantom who haunts them, thus disturbing educational action.

Keywords : Child; feminine; school; education; psychoanalysis; O Edipus; teacher.
