Abstract

MAGALHAES, Darlene Denise Machado de Moura Oliveira de. Subject constitution X Child development: a false dilemma. Estilos clin. [online]. 2006, vol.11, n.20, pp.92-109. ISSN 1415-7128.

The psychoanalytic theory tells us about the constitution of a subjective structure, about becoming subject of desire and about the importance of these constructions in childhood. However, there is a tendency among theorists of making a radical separation between the structural perspective and the development perspective, producing a hiatus between these formulations, which makes the interdisciplinary dialog difficult. Departing from this point of view, I will discuss the possibility of a dialog between motive mechanics and discursive structure, passing by different psychomotive functioning scenes that determine the subjectivation of the child through the corporeal constitution. Thus, I will explore the differences and similarities between structure and development, since a child structures and develops itself.

Keywords : Structure; Development; Subject constitution; Childhood and language.
