Abstract

BARBOSA, Denise Carvalho. Reasons for early intervention from conception to birth. Estilos clin. [online]. 2007, vol.12, n.23, pp. 68-77. ISSN 1415-7128.

This article intends to show more deeply the reason for early intervention in the interaction of mother and baby, considering the progresses in the field of Psychoanalysis and Neurobiology: the organic implement which we are born with cannot do without language so that certain functions may be constituted. We also propose to listen to pregnant women who may present risks to the baby’s subjectivity, as a prevention possibility, to reduce the impact of that first and fundamental encounter of a mother with her child, for considering it an important and decisive factor to the rapport between mother and child also.

Keywords : Early intervention; Babies’ psychoanalysis; Mother-child interaction; Risk of autism.
