Abstract

VORCARO, Angela  and  VERAS, Viviane. Playing as a writing operation. Estilos clin. [online]. 2008, vol.13, n.24, pp. 24-39. ISSN 1415-7128.

This paper considers the linguistic properties of playing, in which the child stands out as a subject, to analyze the singularity of the operation of transposition from experience to the register of enactment. This transposition allows us underscore the writing operation, inscribed in playing, through an analysis of the relations between the Freudian notion of figurability, on the one hand, and ludic enactment, on the other. A hypothesis is formulated according to which ludic enactment is a writing operation, since its traces, although not completely readable, offer themselves to be read. The consequences of this conclusion to the direction of the treatment of children legitimize the intervention in the child's playing as an act that, in serious psychopathologies, may recover its symbolic force.

Keywords : playing; writing; psychoanalytical clinic with children; jugar; escritura; clínica psicoanalítica con niños.
