From this study, the melancholia can be thought of as one of the modalities of the relationship of women to the object, which I have been discussing in this article, a more focused discussion on the clinical care of female melancholia, considering the fact that this issue has not been developed with accuracy in current psychoanalytic literature. That is why I feel the need to come back to the authors cited in the text above, in order to specify the status of the object in psychoanalytic theory of melancholia, and more specifically, the female melancholia.
