Abstract

VIOLA, Daniela Teixeira Dutra  and  VORCARO, Ângela Maria Resende. Latency, adolescence and knowledge. Estilos clin. [online]. 2013, vol.18, n.3, pp. 461-476. ISSN 1415-7128.

From the hypothesis that the relation with knowledge during the latency period and the transition to puberty has a key role in the vicissitudes of the subjective constitution and in the course of adolescence, this work intends to draw a short route in psychoanalytic theory in the ballast of the joints between latency, adolescence and knowledge, in order to outline a research line in the works of Freud and Lacan, about the problems of puberty. With this, it aims to better understand the dilemmas and difficulties that arise in adolescence in contemporary times.

Keywords : psychoanalysis; puberty; adolescence; latency; knowledge.
