MONTAGNE, Yves-Félix. The mirror stage in physical education: find the instinctual trait in a student's question to a case study. Estilos clin. [online]. 2014, vol.19, n.3, pp. 482-498. ISSN 1415-7128. http://dx.doi.org/10.11606/issn.1981-1624.v19i3p482-498.
From the conceptual field of psychoanalysis, this article will attest to the fact that, in physical education (PE), the assembly of the demonstration of the body with the speech of the professor commenting on this body, associated with the unusual bodily sensations experienced in motor tasks, may lead some students to live a structuring moment akin to the mirror stage. This assumption allows to consider a different perception of the link speech / look / body in PE, as well as to consider some students' questions vis-à-vis their teacher' as requests that manifest a desire of subjective structuring from the Subject. Case studies in teachers training classes will be finally proposed.
